About My Clients
I have experience working with children from (4+) providing Play Therapy and helping parents improve their relationship with their child and manage behavioral issues. Additionally, I work with teens and adults facing anxiety, depression, gender issues, grief, women's issues, prenatal/postnatal/infertility LGTBQ+ issues, relationship issues, behavioral issues, academic issues, low self-esteem, and low motivation.
My Background and Approach
I am passionate about multicultural competencies and providing a safe and non-judgmental place for a diverse clientele. I utilize a humanistic approach to empowering my clients with self-knowledge, coping skills, and self-acceptance through play therapy (kids), talk therapy, expressive arts, dreamwork, and mindfulness techniques. Change for my clients is possible when they understand how they see themselves, their relationships, behavioral patterns, and irrational thinking. I believe in a collaborative, authentic, and warm relationship with my clients to enhance continual personal growth. I encourage future clients to find a unique connection with their therapist. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I recognize the effort my clients make to commit every week to their mental health. Therapy can be challenging and emotionally draining thus I encourage my client to self-care and be compassionate during this process. There is no more gratifying job than guiding my clients to become stronger, more compassionate, authentic, and whole.
