About My Clients
As a Psychotherapist I have a focus of intervention therapy, most often with Women and Children, families, those seeking spiritual support and life coach guidance, or those in transitional or challenging stages of life. I see many crisis, mood related, and relationship challenges. Most of my clients "stick around" for a year or longer, completing an average of 5 treatment plans! It is very often our connection remains.
My Background and Approach
I use both Evidence Based and Holistic practices in treatment. Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered, REBT, and Emotional Intelligence are most often used to ensure that wholeness and self-advocacy is instilled in the care I provide. Most of my work experience and education is in Integrated Mental Health and has equipped me to provide holistic and clinically focused healing and care to all backgrounds. My Religious Studies background has appropriated me to offer Spiritual counseling to my clients if preferred. In addition to these, I enjoy using Yoga and Ecotherapy when appropriate. I remain relatable and thrive in rapport and relatability.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is my belief that all clients are treatable and able to succeed in their personal goals and aspirations. My insight and knowledge gained has been a huge contribution to how I have learned, and how I can offer my learning and resiliency to clients I encounter. It is my honor to assist in identifying a persons own strengths, utilize gained wisdoms, and adjust surroundings to facilitate the current growth needs we may outwardly seek. Mental Health and Wellness or (Wholeness) is just as, if not more significant, in cases than physical care and wellness. I have chosen to serve as diligently in this field ,as others do in their divisions of healthcare.
