About My Clients

Have you been searching for meaning in your life? One of the most essential parts of the human experience is searching for meaning in a complex and sometimes overwhelming world. Using play and imagination, I help children, adolescents, and young adults discover who they want to be.

My Background and Approach

As a therapist, I draw from my background performance studies by emphasizing role-play, metaphor, and improvisation. In my work with teens and young adults, I use my love of geek culture, anime, video games, and TTRPGs as therapeutic tools. I also have many years of experience in the field of early childhood education, particularly the Emilio Reggio approach. I bring the ethical and theoretical emphasis of child-centered education into my therapy practice, helping clients of all ages learn and grow in their own way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy is a collaborative relationship in which the client takes the lead. My joy is to help you discover what you need on your journey! I am a Queer-affirming therapist who loves helping clients explore their identities and self-expression. I operate from a perspective of neurodiversity. As a person with dyslexia, I have personal experience navigating the complex issues of self-advocacy and self-esteem in an ableist society. I believe in helping clients of all neurotypes express their own unique talents and strengths.
