About My Clients
When anxiety, stress, or earlier experiences keep showing up, it can make daily life feel exhausting. You might find yourself stuck in your head, worn down by worry, or carrying the weight of things that haven’t fully resolved, even if you’ve tried other ways of coping. I work with people seeking relief from anxiety, stress, grief, or the impact of past experiences, including those in recovery. My approach is compassionate, direct, and focused on meaningful, lasting change
My Background and Approach
I bring over 15 years of clinical experience working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and recovery. My approach is compassionate, direct, and focused on meaningful, lasting change. Rather than focusing only on symptom management, we work on reducing the hold these experiences have on your life, so you can respond to thoughts, emotions, and memories with more flexibility and choice. I define success as clients finding relief and building lives that feel aligned with what matters most to them. If you’re ready for change, schedule a free consultation.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have been involved with social change efforts for many years. I created Doin' The Work, which exists to educate, affirm, and stand beside justice-centered practitioners, without sanitizing the truth or asking them to shrink. We provide continuing education and a space where social workers, therapists, educators, and advocates can come together, learn with and from each other, and stay connected in the work of building a more just world. I am the creator, host, and producer of the podcast Doin' The Work: Frontline Stories of Social Change, featuring interviews with social workers, educators, activists, and others working for social change. We amplify folks doing anti-racist, anti-oppressive, liberatory work. Additionally, I teach graduate and undergraduate social work students. My teaching, like my social work practice, is grounded in a commitment to the radical transformation of society, rooted in social justice.
