My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Financial Social Worker. Most therapists will ask about your anxiety and stop there. Most financial planners will ask about your budget and stop there. I ask why your chest tightens before you check your bank account, because that's not two separate problems. I work with generational trauma, family patterns, and money wounds, the stories about worth, survival, safety, and belonging that live in your body without you even knowing it. Your body remembers what your mind tries to forget, so we don't just talk about the anxiety or the money stress. We follow it back to where it started, notice how it's still showing up in your Tuesday, and work with it there, using EMDR, CBT, Parts work, and somatic practices, not just in theory.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You don't have to hit rock bottom to deserve support, and you don't have to code-switch in session to be understood. I show up in spaces that honor our stories, not the version of them that's easier for someone else to hear. Healing doesn't mean fixing something broken in you.
