About My Clients
Are you carrying stuff that isn't even yours to carry? Generational pain. Family patterns you swore you'd do differently. Money anxiety that wakes you up at 3 a.m. I work with people who are ready to unpack all of that. Who want a therapist that gets their culture, their lived experiences. You're looking to be understood, to see what you've been carrying, and to decide what actually belongs to you. If that's you, let's work together.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Financial Social Worker (CFSW),credentials that mean I'm trained to work at the intersection of mental health and money, two things most therapists don't connect. That matters because your anxiety about finances isn't separate from your anxiety about life; it's all connected. My specialties are generational trauma, family patterns, and money wounds. I've spent years working with people untangling inherited pain the stories about worth, survival, safety, and belonging that live in your body without you even knowing it. I use an integrative approach: psychodynamic work to understand the roots, CBT and Parts work to shift patterns, and somatic practices because your body remembers what your mind tries to forget. Here's what that means for you: we don't just talk about your anxiety or your money stress in isolation. We look at where it comes from, how it lives in you now, and what needs to shift for you to feel different.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is possible, and that it doesn't require you to be broken down first. You don't have to hit rock bottom or lose everything to deserve support. You're worthy right now, exactly as you are. I believe in intergenerational healing, which means I believe you can break cycles that have lived in your family for generations. You're not doomed to repeat what you inherited. I show up for community - I'm involved with organizations that support women of color, I participate in spaces that honor our stories and our struggles, and I believe that therapy shouldn't feel like a white, clinical space where you have to code-switch to be understood. I also believe in rest, and grace over grind. You don't have to earn your worth through productivity or strength. If this resonates with you, let's talk.
