Showing up as your most authentic self can be daunting when you are managing a multitude of stressors. Perhaps you are experiencing burn out or are overwhelmed with parenting and a full time job. Stress is part of being human but chronic stress can be debilitating and detrimental to our health. Giving yourself grace and permission to engage in self-care and healing can lead to improved physical and mental health.
My Background and Approach
Hello! I am a bi-lingual, mindfulness focused, and person-centered therapist. I believe self-care is community-care. By dedicating time to care for and heal as individuals we become available to care for our families and communities. There is incredible value in bringing awareness to your experiences so that you may make informed decisions on what you need to show up as your best self in every aspect of life. Our therapy approach is collaborative and driven by your needs and level of motivation. My practice approach is person-centered, strength-based, collaborative, mind-body connection, and cognitive-behavioral. These approaches frame the practice but the work is driven by your individual needs, level of motivation, and goals. We will work together to identify your therapy goals and build self-awareness, self-care, and healing through reflection, cognitive restructuring, and mindfulness practices.
