About My Clients
Currently, I work with children, teens, & college students. I also provide parent and educator consultation. I also am a trained Parent-Child Interaction Therapist (PCIT). I am offering in person support in North Dakota and teletherapy (e.g., HIPPA-compliant video conferencing) in both North Dakota and Massachusetts.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Psychologist (dually licensed in Massachusetts and North Dakota) and a Health Services Provider with 20+ years experience working with children, teens, caregivers, and educators.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a solutions-based approach. Through this type of approach, you will explore what personal strengths you can utilize in order to reach the goals that you want to achieve and have the types of social connections that you desire. You will build skills within the context of a therapeutic process that incorporates a variety of techniques including mindfulness practices, cognitive-behavioral therapy, social thinking strategies, and Parent-Child Interaction therapy. I welcome the opportunity to partner with you in order to focus on solutions (vs. the problem), to work toward an established goal, and to celebrate your successes.
