About My Clients
My ideal clients are adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, life transitions, or unresolved trauma and are looking for a space where they can slow down, understand themselves more deeply, and feel emotionally safe. I often work with individuals who are high-functioning on the outside but internally experience self-doubt, emotional intensity, or difficulty trusting their own needs and decisions.
My Background and Approach
My approach integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I use EMDR to support the processing of distressing or unresolved experiences, IFS to help clients understand and work with different internal parts, and ACT to support values-based living and psychological flexibility. I tailor treatment to each client’s needs, pacing the work to support emotional safety and nervous system regulation. My goal is to create a grounded space where clients can better understand themselves, reduce symptoms, and move toward meaningful change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a Christian and deeply spiritual, and my personal faith shapes my sense of compassion, humility, and respect for each person’s individual journey. While I do not impose my beliefs in the therapy space, I honor and welcome clients’ spiritual and religious frameworks as part of their healing process if they choose to include them. I recognize spirituality can be a source of strength, meaning, and grounding, especially in times of anxiety, trauma, or life transitions.
