About My Clients
I specialize in working with female clients ages 15 and up who are struggling with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, divorce and other relationship issues, grief, and self-esteem. Connecting with clients and creating a safe space to explore all of life's challenges is essential to me as a therapist. There is no challenge too big for our space together. I am able to assist you on your journey whether our time together is short-term or long-term.
My Background and Approach
I approach each client with unconditional acceptance and facilitate a nonjudgmental space. Using a variety of counseling approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Trauma Therapy, I will be your guide as we explore challenges prohibiting you from thriving. Together we will create goals for our time together and these will be our main focus of each session. We will revisit our goals often and adjust them as needed. A team approach is important for all clients. I will gladly work with others upon your request. Whether it is family members, a partner, or other professionals such as a physician, I am able to assist you in advocating for your overall mental health. Should you be interested in community resources such as support groups, I am able to assist you in locating these important resources. In our work together, you are in control! Sessions are your time to address challenges in your daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal belief is that ALL people deserve exceptional healthcare which includes mental health. EVERYONE deserves to be heard and treated with respect. People should be seen as the expert on their own healthcare while clinicians guide them in improving their lives. Although we may not share all personal beliefs, we do share in the human experience.
