In dealing with grief and loss with clients, I work with the client on attachment, emotional exploration and processing, social engagement, meditation, relaxation, and mindfulness therapies, somatic exercises and therapies, and exposure therapy in dealing with the symptoms of depression. I am very focused on changing the behavioral to change the cognitive. I also focus on improving life style and daily living skills of the client.

In working with clients on anxiety, I am solution-focused and Trauma-informed. Interventions used are Somatic Attachment Therapy, Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Relaxation, and Meditation Therapies.

My approaches to depression is similar to that of anxiety however the approach to the varying symptoms are different. I am solution-focused and Trauma-informed. Interventions used are Somatic Attachment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Relaxation, and Meditation Therapies.

I focus on issues of the clients attachment to self and others in context of their current community. I complete and Adult Attachment Interview as a part of Intake and refer to the clients attachment style in the creation of interventions and anticipating clients difi\ficulties with implementing various interventions.

I have experience facilitating addiction groups and handling one on one sessions dealing with various types of addictions. I use 12-step approach and Motivational Interviewing, emotional exploration, case management, and programs to improve self-care and daily living skills.

I am solution-focused in that I work with clients to manage symptoms so they may function daily. I do work long-term to expose the root of their mental health concerns. However, the first concern is to get the client to a stable life situation so they can function daily and stat to work toward a solution to the issues.
