About My Clients
I work with couples and individuals who feel stuck in patterns that aren’t shifting despite effort. Many are high-functioning in other areas of life but experience disconnection, repeated conflict, or loss of alignment in their relationships. I work best with those who are reflective, willing to look honestly at what’s happening, and ready to engage in meaningful change rather than surface-level fixes.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with over two decades of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. While I am clinically trained, my work is not centered on diagnosis or symptom management. Instead, I focus on patterns, relational dynamics, and identity-level processes that shape how people connect, communicate, and respond under stress. I work through structured, time-limited containers rather than open-ended weekly sessions. This allows for deeper focus, clearer direction, and more sustainable change. My approach is systems-informed, relational, and trauma-aware, helping clients understand not just what is happening, but why it keeps happening and how to shift it. This work is best suited for clients who are ready for depth, accountability, and intentional change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people make sense in the context of their experiences, relationships, and environments. Much of the work I do is helping clients understand themselves and each other without immediately turning to blame or labels. I value honesty, accountability, and the ability to hold complexity. I work from a non-pathologizing lens and aim to create space where clients can be seen clearly while also being challenged when needed. I am committed to providing care that is culturally aware, inclusive, and respectful of different identities, backgrounds, and lived experiences.
