About My Clients
My clients are adults carrying the weight of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, or relationship struggles — often for longer than they should have to. They're ready for something to finally change but may feel unsure where to start. They want a therapist who listens without judgment and won't shy away from the hard stuff. My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), I bring years of experience helping adults navigate some of life's most painful and overwhelming challenges — trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles. I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps your brain process difficult memories so they no longer disrupt your daily life, your relationships, or your sense of self. My approach is warm, empathetic, and deeply client-centered. I believe healing happens when you feel genuinely safe — not rushed, not judged, and not alone. Every person who walks through my door carries a unique story, and I tailor my approach to meet you exactly where you are. Whether you're struggling with anxiety that won't let up, haunted by past experiences, or feeling stuck in patterns you can't break, I'm here to help you find relief and rediscover your strength. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trauma therapist who believes healing happens in spaces where people feel truly safe, respected, and understood. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and a strong commitment to social justice. As a Latina woman, I value the importance of culture, identity, and lived experience in the healing process. I am an ally to Black communities and the LGBTQ+ community and strive to create an affirming space for clients of all backgrounds, identities, and family structures. I believe therapy should honor the whole person — your story, your culture, and your resilience. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where clients can process trauma, build self-worth, and reconnect with their authentic selves without judgment. Outside of therapy, I’m also a mother and someone who understands the complexity of balancing family, identity, and personal growth.
