So if you are an adult from the age of 18 to 100 years of age seeking help with depression, anxiety, work related stress, substance abuse/relapse prevention, grief and loss, women's health, Christian counseling, life transitions/stages, anger management and stress management, or divorce adjustment, we will discuss a plan and treatment that is best suited for you to alleviate your symptoms and at each session provide you with workable tools you can use.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I do believe that everyone is capable of changing and growing. I do not believe there is limit to human capacity. I feel that one of the main reasons that we may develop mental health or even emotional health issues, is because we have unhealth coping behaviors that we may have picked up from our past. Because of that, we tend to function off of past behaviors. I believe in using good health coping tools that allow for the release of negative energy. Those things can include pray, faith, strong belief in God, meditating, relaxation techniques, and even developing healthy outlets, like hiking, journaling, exercising or walking. As a woman, a mother, career person, someone who has dealt with grief, loss, stress, I am very familiar at utilizing the above mentioned tools to overcome and conquer the downside of life. I have learned how to climb the mountain and keep moving. I am here to teach you those skills and help build your self esteem and resilience and confidence.
