About My Clients
My clients are typically professional women in their mid-20's thru mid-40's who desire personal growth and prioritize their social- emotional well being. Typical issues are related to managing stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, mild to moderate eating difficulties, difficulty identifying their needs, prioritizing their needs and making beneficial, empowering choices while others are wanting to address habitual long term patterns which result in anxiety and depression.
My Background and Approach
I am a Gestalt Therapist. Gestalt therapy is an active personal growth therapy model using a whole person approach involving the body, feelings and thoughts to identify and interrupt dysfunctional patterns of relating to ones self and others. We work together so you can understand yourself, harness your inner supports and act with confidence on who you are, what you want and need to benefit your well being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I provide a safe place for you to share and a supportive place for you to grow. I believe, people change by acceptance of what they are doing to then navigate to what they want and need. Acceptance doesn't mean liking what you're doing instead being aware put's you in touch with yourself so you can make new and different choices if you're not aware of what you doing, it difficult to make different choices. We engage in dialogue, feedback, and exercises to further our work. I believe support and contact opens up possibilities which you apply in daily living long after you've left therapy.
