About My Clients
I primarily work with adolescents and adults across the spectrum of identity and culture. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, interpersonal challenges, or life transitions, my goal is to help you grow, heal, and make lasting change.
My Background and Approach
As a practicing professional, my counseling experience includes assessment and treatment of the following populations: high-risk individuals, adolescents; young adult/college students; and adults. Services rendered were primarily outpatient individual therapy services. I also have experience facilitating counseling and psychoeducational groups. My areas of expertise include mood disorders, anxiety, stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder, self-harm, and interpersonal conflict. Group experience includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My theoretical orientation is mainly eclectic but primarily rooted Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in providing compassionate, culturally competent care that honors the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. My approach is grounded in respect, empathy, and authenticity, and I’m committed to addressing the physical, behavioral, and mental aspects of well-being in my work. I value creating a nonjudgmental, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences openly. Through humor and warmth, I build a trusting, therapeutic relationship that empowers clients to challenge self-limiting beliefs, foster self-growth, and work toward lasting change.
