About My Clients

Life feels overwhelming, and you’re struggling to keep up. Maybe past trauma is weighing you down, or you're battling anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. Relationships might feel strained, or you're stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and fear of change. It’s hard to move forward when everything feels uncertain. I’m here to help you process your pain, build resilience, and find the clarity to move forward. Together, we’ll create a path toward healing and reclaiming your power.

My Background and Approach

I have eight years of diverse experience as a therapist. I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Howard University and a Master’s in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My background includes working with severe mental illness, complex trauma, and marginalized populations, including those impacted by incarceration and domestic violence. My specialties include trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and life transitions, with a focus on supporting young adults, BIPOC individuals, and women. I use various therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Adlerian Therapy, to tailor sessions to your needs. My style is compassionate and empowering, with a touch of humor to make the process feel approachable. As a client, you’ll find a safe, affirming space where we can explore and heal. I’ll help you build resilience, reconnect with your strengths, and navigate challenges with confidence.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m passionate about creating safe, inclusive spaces for healing, particularly for those from marginalized backgrounds. As a Black therapist, I understand the importance of addressing mental health within the context of cultural and societal challenges, and I’m deeply committed to serving BIPOC communities. I support causes that uplift and protect vulnerable populations, including the Black Lives Matter movement, LGBTQ+ rights, and immigrant rights. Through my work, I aim to promote social justice and mental health access for all, especially those who’ve faced systemic barriers to care. In my practice, I emphasize empowerment, resilience, and self-advocacy. I believe in honoring each client’s unique story and experiences, offering a space where you feel truly seen and valued. Beyond my practice, I advocate for mental health education and accessibility, striving to dismantle the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly in communities of color. Together, let’s work toward healing
