About My Clients
I support adults seeking deep healing, not just symptom relief. My clients are often navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, life transitions, or spiritual disconnection. Many are high-functioning but emotionally overwhelmed, feeling stuck or misaligned. Whether faith-based or not, they desire clarity, inner peace, and practical steps toward change. Together, we walk a path of truth, emotional safety, and restoration.
My Background and Approach
With a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University, I integrate cognitive (CBT, DBT), somatic (polyvagal, SE), and spiritually rooted modalities to support whole-person healing. I am also trained in trauma-focused care and emotion-focused approaches. I work from both top-down (thoughts and beliefs) and bottom-up (body and nervous system) frameworks. As a first-generation Guyanese American, I bring a culturally sensitive and spiritually attuned lens to therapy. My clinical work is supported by my lived experience, a deep calling to serve, and a firm belief in the power of restoration. I don’t believe in “just managing symptoms.” My clients are equipped to heal and thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is sacred. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit, and that transformation is possible, no matter the starting point. I believe in the power of faith, nature, whole foods, and whole truth. I'm passionate about dismantling generational trauma, advocating for culturally competent care, and empowering women to reclaim their voice. I stand for justice, healing, and Holy Spirit-led truth. I support trauma-informed initiatives, mentorship for first-generation professionals, and volunteer work that uplifts underserved communities. Above all, I believe that you are not your diagnosis, your past, or your pain—you are worthy of healing, freedom, and joy.
