I specifically support those who have been impacted by the effects of trauma as experienced in childhood or within relationships across the lifespan. This trauma may be categorized as attachment based trauma which typically involves trauma involved within the context of primary or significant relationships in one's life. I utilize various evidence based approaches aimed at helping you heal and move forward to a fuller life not characterized by reliving the effects of trauma on a regular basis.

Much of the relationship & marital problems we see stem from errors in communication impacting intimacy, causing distance & leading to a range of other factors. Through the process of couple's therapy or individual work aimed at improving relationship issues or patterns, I will support you in gaining new insight around your own behaviors and responses and support you in attuning to your partner in ways that can help you receive the treatment/outcomes you desire from your relationship.

My approach integrates a focus on the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, etc. to help promote wellness in all areas of your life and relationships. We will work together to explore potential imbalance that may be leading to a lack of fulfillment in any of these areas.

In couple's counseling, both parties are present and we work together to navigate challenges or hurt that has occurred within the relationship. I will help support you in learning new ways of connecting with your partner, building intimacy, and working together to overcome challenges within the relationship while seeking to reignite passion and create a unified vision.
