About My Clients
I walk alongside families as they navigate unique seasons in their journey together. I utilize a variety of approaches to address issues with parenting, family conflict, and family court involvement, as well as addressing individual mental health struggles and the impact on the family system. My clinical specialties include working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, issues of faith, domestic and childhood abuse, divorce and separation, women's issues, and pregnancy and postpartum.
My Background and Approach
I approach therapy with a holistic mindset focused on the strengths of each individual. My Master of Social Work degree is from San Diego State University and I am an Associate Social Worker (#85126) currently supervised by Carlos Diaz, LMFT (#45760). Throughout my work and volunteer experience, I have had the privilege of collaborating with many different groups of people. These include foster and adopted youth, military and veteran families, teens on probation, single parents, families of faith, and elderly clients. In addition, I am a devoted mother to two wonderful young children.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that therapy is an open and honest space to express your true feelings and work through them together. I am here to support you with whatever you come in with. Throughout my life, I have experienced many of the issues I now choose to help others with as a way to pay it forward. We all need each other to get through the most difficult challenges and my goal is to foster those healthy relationships.
