About My Clients

You may feel caught between your family’s expectations and the life you want. Perhaps you’re dealing with anxiety, burnout or pressure to succeed, but find it hard to disappoint people or admit you’re struggling. I work with adolescents and adults, including children of immigrants, international students and young professionals. We can explore what you’re carrying without asking you to choose between your relationships and yourself. Book through my website to work with me.

My Background and Approach

My approach is gentle, compassionate and person-centered. That means I see you as the expert on your own life. I’m not here to judge you, tell you what to do or decide what your life should look like. I’m here to listen, ask thoughtful questions and support you as we work out what matters to you. I also draw from CBT, ACT, DBT and compassion-focused therapy. Depending on what you need, we may look at anxious thoughts, find practical ways to handle difficult emotions or explore how your experiences have shaped the way you see yourself. I have particular experience helping adolescents through difficult transitions, as well as supporting adults with work, relationships and questions about identity. We’ll work toward helping you understand your authentic self and build a life that feels more aligned with your own values.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I’m a firm believer in the power of community and support. No one deserves to struggle alone, even when you’re used to handling things yourself or feel as though other people may not understand. As a young Asian American woman and a child of immigrants, I know that family, culture and community can shape how we think about success, responsibility and who we are allowed to become. I won’t assume my experience is the same as yours, but I understand that these questions are not always simple. Therapy can be somewhere you explore what you value, what feels true to you and how you want to live without being told what the answer should be.
