About My Clients
She earned her BA in Psychology from Long Island University, where she also played Division I softball, and later completed her MSW at the University of Southern California. She has provided both individual and group therapy across hospital, residential, and community-based programs.
My Background and Approach
Shelley believes therapy should feel like a safe, supportive place where you can be honest, understood, and empowered. She takes a warm, person-centered approach focused on helping clients identify their values, build on their strengths, and reconnect with the most authentic version of themselves. She integrates evidence-based skills from CBT, DBT, and the Trauma Resiliency Model—using humor when it fits—to help you challenge limiting beliefs and grow with confidence.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Outside of work, Shelley enjoys hiking, snowboarding, slow-pitch softball, hot yoga, photography, video editing, stand-up comedy, podcasts, and playing with her dog.
