About My Clients
My clients are adults from many walks of life who are facing difficult or unexpected life challenges. This may include infertility or IVF journeys, cancer diagnoses, grief and loss, anxiety, burnout, or major life transitions. Some people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or carrying more than they can manage alone. Together we work to process these experiences, strengthen coping skills, and help you move forward with greater clarity and emotional balance.
My Background and Approach
I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy. With nearly two decades of experience as a clinical social worker, I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, infertility and IVF journeys, chronic illness, cancer diagnoses, and burnout. My work integrates trauma-informed care, somatic awareness, and practical coping strategies to help clients understand how stress and past experiences affect both the mind and body. Many of the people I work with are high-functioning professionals who are used to holding everything together for others but struggle to create space for their own emotional needs. In therapy, I focus on creating a grounded, supportive environment where clients can slow down, process difficult experiences, and develop tools to move forward with greater clarity and resilience. Together we work to identify patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and reconnect with a sense of stability and self-trust.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel respected, understood, and free from judgment. My work is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves compassionate support when navigating life’s most difficult experiences. I value cultural awareness, emotional safety, and honoring the unique life experiences each person brings into therapy. I support individuals from diverse backgrounds and strive to create an inclusive environment where clients feel seen and heard. I also believe mental health care should be practical and empowering. Therapy is not only about understanding past experiences but also about helping people develop the tools they need to move forward with confidence, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self.
