About My Clients
My main goal when working with you is to create a judgment free environment and help you find practical steps in addressing the concerns that are affecting you. It is crucial to me that we create an empathetic atmosphere that fosters growth and a collaborative relationship through warmth, kindness, and humor. No person's story or journey in therapy is the same and neither is yours. Given this, I will cater therapy to address your specific needs.
My Background and Approach
I work through an integrative approach with a heavy emphasis on evidence-based treatments. I utilize interventions from ACT, CBT, Narrative therapy, DBT, and mindfulness techniques. I offer both individual therapy and couple’s therapy. My passion is working with individuals encountering grief and life transitions, those struggling with or navigating through substance use/addiction, as well as anxiety, depression, and stress management. Most importantly, I pride myself on being a multiculturally sensitive counselor who strives to work with people of any background or identity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the human experience is not meant to be lived alone. I value human connection and helping others whenever possible. I strongly believe that no matter someone's journey, background, identity, or orientation, we all deserve to flourish and live a life we are fulfilled with.
