About My Clients

My Background and Approach
The interventions and techniques that I typically use allow my clients to add to their toolbox. Your individual toolbox will be something you can utilize in various situations and everyday life to ensure you're coping effectively and living a healthy life. I work from a cognitive behavioral and mindfully based approach. Sessions are most often based off what you feel is important to address that day, while being mindful of your counseling goals and progress. I continue to attend trainings to keep up to date with current information, trends and to learn different styles/interventions. I have experience in working with individuals who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, adjustment and life transitions and perinatal mental health concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I personally believe that we grow and change at any time throughout our lives. We often learn and use unhealthy behaviors and coping skills based off our different life experiences. Although we may have similar life events, we all experience those in a different way. I am here to help provide support in your individual experience and reframe your thoughts that feel bothersome.
