About My Clients
I work primarily with children, tweens, and teens who are struggling with persistent worry, school stress, rituals, intrusive thoughts, avoidance, or confidence/self-esteem issues and families feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck by their child’s anxiety or OCD. I also support parents who want compassionate guidance and practical tools to help their child, while navigating the challenges of parenting during anxiety or OCD.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed LMFT based in the South Bay (Campbell) offering in-person sessions + telehealth across California through Peekaboo Anxiety & OCD. With two master’s degrees and specialized training in child/adolescent counseling, I’ve developed expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) — the gold standard for OCD as well as Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), SPACE therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. My approach is always personalized: I believe there is no one-size-fits-all pathway. I collaborate closely with children/teens and their parents to design a care plan rooted in empathy, evidence and their unique family values. I blend clinical skill with warmth and compassion so therapy feels safe, relatable and effective.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should feel human and not cold, clinical, or one-size-fits-all. Every child and family deserves to feel seen, heard, and understood. Mental health care works best when it’s inclusive, affirming, and tailored to cultural background, family dynamics, and individual temperament. I believe in collaboration: success comes when therapist, client, and family work together as a team. I believe in empowering families with tools that last beyond sessions so kids and teens can gradually reclaim confidence, calm, and freedom from anxiety or OCD. Above all: I deeply care. I believe a child’s world can feel bigger than their worries. Therapy can be that safe space where healing begins.
