About My Clients
Do you feel like your child is struggling but you’re not sure how to help? Maybe they’re anxious, sad, or easily frustrated. I help kids and teens understand big emotions, build confidence, and learn tools to cope. Together, we strengthen communication and connection so your family can feel more grounded, supported, and hopeful again.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed psychologist with years of experience supporting children, teens, and families through challenges like anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and school stress. My training in cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and play therapy approaches allows me to meet each child where they are, helping them express feelings, build coping skills, and strengthen relationships. Parents are active partners in the process, learning strategies to communicate effectively and respond with confidence. My goal is for every child and family I work with to leave therapy with greater self-understanding, emotional balance, and a sense of connection that lasts beyond our sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing starts with being truly seen and understood. I’m passionate about helping kids and families feel safe enough to be themselves, imperfections and all. My practice is grounded in compassion, inclusion, and curiosity. I’m committed to creating a space that affirms all identities and honors the many ways we learn, feel, and grow. I care deeply about mental health advocacy, educational equity, and supporting children whose emotional needs are often misunderstood. In my own life, I value authenticity, humor, and connection, and I aim to bring that same spirit into the therapy room.
