About My Clients
I work with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life, and I don’t believe there’s one “type” of person who belongs in therapy. You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, trauma, self-esteem, family dynamics, neurodivergence, a major life transition, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount Mercy University and use Narrative and Satir approaches, with an attachment-focused lens. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I want to meet you where you are, get curious about your story, and walk alongside you as we figure out where you want to go next. You don’t have to have it all figured out before you start.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are inherently good, resilient, and capable of growth. I also believe that most of us are doing the best we can with what we’ve learned, experienced, and been given. Sometimes the things that once helped us survive can become the things that hold us back. I value authenticity, connection, curiosity, compassion, and a little bit of humor. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine relationship where you can show up as your whole self, without having to perform or have all the answers. My goal isn’t to tell you who you should be. It’s to walk alongside you as you discover who you are and what you want your life to look like.
