About My Clients
I support women through the full, complicated experience of life, whether you're navigating anxiety, relationships, identity, career concerns, grief, motherhood, major transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I also support teen girls and have a special heart for the perinatal journey, including infertility, pregnancy loss, difficult birth experiences, and adjusting to motherhood. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to navigate it alone.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in nearly 20 years of supporting children, teens, adults, and families across education, school counseling, community mental health, and private practice. As both a Licensed Professional Counselor and experienced educator, I bring a deep understanding of development, relationships, and the many ways our experiences shape who we become. My approach is warm, collaborative, holistic, and creative, drawing from CBT, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, expressive arts, somatic awareness, and experiential and play-based approaches. I believe therapy should fit the person, not the other way around. Some days that may mean talking and reflecting; other days, we may create, explore, or engage the body when words aren't enough. Together, we'll find an approach that feels meaningful, authentic, and supportive of your goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all shaped by our experiences, relationships, identities, cultures, and the seasons of life we move through. I don't believe therapy is about “fixing” who you are. It's about creating space to understand yourself more deeply, heal what hurts, recognize your strengths, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have gotten lost along the way. I value authenticity, compassion, creativity, and connection, and I believe therapy should be a place where you can bring your whole self without judgment. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you need before you begin. Sometimes simply having a safe place to be honest, curious, and fully yourself is where healing starts.
