About My Clients
I believe therapeutic goals can be reached through true collaboration and openness between therapist and client. My authentic nature and strengths-based approach help me build rapport and get buy-in with clients who find it difficult to open up or who struggle to see themselves making positive change in their lives. I believe that all humans deserve happiness and am passionate about helping clients find their own sense of belonging.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in trauma recovery and focus on helping clients see their struggles as a result of past trauma rather than a sense of brokenness. I have significant experience working with clients with history of abuse, neglect, and other traumatic events. Among the modalities and approaches I use are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, internal family systems therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I understand that reaching out and attending the initial appointment is often the hardest step and am ready to meet you where you are in your journey. I believe that everyone can benefit from a positive therapeutic relationship and look forward to helping you find your path to your most authentic self.
