About My Clients

My clients are often deep thinkers, self-aware adults, and professionals who may appear to be functioning well on the outside but feel stuck, lost, or disconnected on the inside. Many have been successful at managing life’s demands but carry persistent internal struggles—patterns in relationships, harsh self-criticism, emotional shutdown, or a sense that something vital is missing. Some come to therapy with a clear issue they want to address—anxiety, burnout, identity concerns, or the impact of

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience in psychotherapy and psychological assessment. My foundation is in psychodynamic therapy—curious, collaborative, and depth-oriented. I help adults explore how early experiences, unconscious patterns, and internal conflicts shape the present. My clients are often thoughtful, high-functioning, and self-aware—but stuck. They may have tried therapy before and want something deeper, more sustaining, and more honest. In addition to therapy, I offer adult psychological assessments for ADHD, autism, and diagnostic clarification. My approach is nuanced and affirming—not just checklists and scores. Whether in therapy or evaluation, I aim to provide insight, clarity, and connection.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people are complex, not broken. Our symptoms often make sense in context—they’re shaped by early relationships, cultural narratives, trauma, and unconscious strategies we developed to survive. I don't pathologize complexity or rush to label what's difficult to live with. I think therapy should honor ambiguity, allow space for uncertainty, and help people feel more connected to themselves—not just more “functional.” I also believe clinicians should be willing to question their own training, biases, and assumptions. Good therapy is rigorous, collaborative, and emotionally alive.
