About My Clients
I believe in tailoring my approach to meet your needs, as everyones journey is unique. Throughout our sessions, I will work with you to explore the challenges you are facing and identify the underlying causes of your struggles. I draw from various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.
My Background and Approach
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Global Public Health with an emphasis on Community Mental Health and earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and Applied Psychology. Early in my career I provided individual and family services at my local Women’s Enrichment Center, a K-8 School specifically for Neurodivergent students and a Title I High School. In recent years I have enjoyed my work as a Mental Health Therapist for several Sub-Acute and Acute Psychiatric Hospitals in my area. Additionally, I am a National Certified Counselor and an active board member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society.
