My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a PhD. I specialize in working with young adults, adults, and older adults who are navigating life transitions, anxiety, career uncertainty, identity development, grief, and caregiver stress. My training is grounded in humanistic and trauma-informed care, which means I approach therapy with deep respect for your story and strengths. I integrate evidence-based strategies like CBT and mindfulness to help you develop practical tools for managing stress, building confidence, and creating lasting change. Whether you're figuring out your next step, feeling stuck, or simply seeking space to reflect and grow, I offer a warm, collaborative space where you’ll feel heard, supported, and empowered to move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, I value authenticity, curiosity, and compassion—both in and out of the therapy room. I’m committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for people of all identities and backgrounds, and I strive to approach my work through a lens of social justice, cultural humility, and trauma awareness. I’m passionate about supporting mental health access, especially for college students, caregivers, and underserved communities. Outside of therapy, I find joy in nature, music, and spending time with my loved ones.
