About My Clients
I walk alongside women and their partners as they navigate the beautiful - and often precarious - transition to parenthood, creating a safe space where faith and mental health meet. No matter what you expected, pregnancy and postpartum may feel far different than you imagined. The journey can be lonely, isolating and exhausting. You may be overwhelmed with anxiety, struggling to bond with your baby, facing the pain of loss, or carrying guilt, grief or fear.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University, and I bring both expertise and personal warmth to my work with clients. I specialize in supporting individuals and families through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the unique challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and early motherhood. My approach is faith-informed and grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Because counseling is deeply personal, I take time to understand each client’s story and tailor strategies that fit their needs. Together, we set meaningful goals, and I equip clients with practical tools they can use beyond our sessions to experience lasting growth and healing.
