My Background and Approach
My practice specializes in evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for adults and couples. CBT is an active, structured, and collaborative approach that focuses on understanding the thoughts, behaviors, emotions, and relationship patterns that may be keeping you stuck—and developing practical ways to change them. I hold an advanced Level 3 certification in TEAM-CBT through the Feeling Good Institute. This modern form of CBT combines ongoing feedback, empathy, clear goal-setting, and targeted methods to create therapy that is both supportive and effective. Our work is personalized to your needs, but it is not one-size-fits-all or limited to simply talking through problems. I believe that people are capable of meaningful change, even when they have felt stuck, overwhelmed, or discouraged for a long time.
