About My Clients
I have experience working with a wide range of individuals and mental health concerns. I believe in building a foundation of trust with my clients first and foremost and I encourage the use of artistic expression, movement and humor in sessions.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ populations, particularly queer and non-binary adolescents/young adults as well as providing gender affirming care. I use a non-pathologizing lens and anti-oppressive frameworks to conceptualize symptomology of my clients while acknowledging and centering how systems of oppression and experiences of marginalization impact my client’s experiences of the world.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe actively addressing systems that cause harm is a pinnacle part of mental health care and center mutual aid and harm reduction practices inside and outside of therapeutic settings.
