About My Clients
I work with teens and adults that are navigating anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, body image struggles, and patterns that feel hard to break. I have a passion for working with folks that are wanting to explore deep wounds of shame, low-self trust and trauma.
My Background and Approach
I’m a therapist who is deeply passionate about helping people understand themselves in a more compassionate and connected way. My work is informed by attachment theory, EMDR, and somatic approaches. This means that while we will talk about your experiences, we’ll also pay attention to how those experiences live in your body, your emotions, and your nervous system. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and gently challenged—so that over time, you can build a stronger relationship with yourself and move through your life with more ease and clarity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it feels human. At its core, therapy is a relationship. It’s a space where you can show up more honestly than you might anywhere else, and where your experiences are met with curiosity instead of judgment. I don’t believe you are broken, the patterns that bring people into therapy—anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, emotional shutdown, even self-criticism—make sense in context. They are often adaptations. Ways your mind and body learned to cope, protect, or survive in environments where something felt overwhelming, unsafe, or uncertain. At some point, those strategies likely helped you and over time, they can become limiting. Therapy isn’t about getting rid of parts of you—it’s about understanding them, softening them, and creating space for new ways of responding.
