I have worked with all genders and age ranges regarding self-esteem issues and how to learn to become more self-compassionate and practice self-love from a strengths-based perspective. I have also had experience facilitating workshops and support groups for teenage girls in high-school and special-needs students on the topic of self-esteem.
In all my roles as a case manager, educate, and therapist, depression and anxiety have been the most common and prevalent issues that I have treated. Psychoeducation is a critical component of treating depression that I feel particularly passionate about as it also includes normalizing feelings associated with depression, such as sadness, hopelessness, loss of motivation, etc.

I believe the way we think, feel, and behave are strongly impacted by the familial relationships and environment that we were raised in. That is why it is critical to examine the family system and discover how positive change within relationships can redefine, strengthen, and repair our family and interpersonal relationships.
In order to understand who we are and why we think, feel, and behave the way we do as adults, it is helpful to explore and process the way we experienced the world as children. From the relationships we had with our caregivers and loved ones to the significant events and memories we carry either consciously or subconsciously with us into adulthood, these are the things that have shaped us into who we are and impact who we decide to become. It can be scary to look into the past but I am with you.
Learning about how our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are interconnected and impact one another is the first step to changing how we make decisions, experience the world, and live our lives.
