About My Clients
I see a HUGE varying populations of different clients. From pre-school age kiddos to adults who are ready to retire. From anxiety to depression, self harm to recent suicide attempts, and clients just needing a boost to get out of their own head. Many of my clients aren’t sure why they need therapy but after a few sessions it normally becomes clear for them and we start the hard work to get their life back or even start their life for the first time!
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker with several years experience working with children and adults alike. Shawn comes with vast experience in various backgrounds as a Veteran of the U.S Air Force, former EMT, assistant director of a foster care agency, mental health crisis worker and of course a Social Worker. Having worked closely within highly vulnerable populations Shawn is no stranger to working with clients with complex needs. Shawn strives to add value with every interaction by adapting to the needs of his clients through creativity, trust, and a sprinkle of realness.
