About My Clients
I help children (8+), adults, and couples who feel stuck in cycles of worry, conflict, or self-doubt. My clients often struggle with anxiety, ADHD, depression, or relationship stress. Together, we clarify what truly matters and build flexible, faith-grounded ways of living it out. Whether you’re seeking emotional balance, deeper connection, or renewed purpose, therapy is a place to grow and heal at your own pace.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of ministry experience and specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My approach combines mindfulness, behavior change, and values-based living with practical tools that help you navigate life’s challenges. I also integrate faith and evidence-based methods for those who want to include spirituality in their healing. Clients describe my style as calm, authentic, and encouraging—a safe space to explore, heal, and grow. I work with children, teens, adults, and couples facing anxiety, ADHD, depression, anger, and relational strain.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe growth happens when we learn to tend what matters—with grace, curiosity, and faith. My Christian faith shapes my compassion for others, but I welcome clients from all walks of life. I value authenticity, humility, and the quiet work of renewal that happens over time. Outside the office, I enjoy time with my wife and three kids, golfing, reading, and cheering for the Kansas Jayhawks and Chiefs. Vineyard Counseling grew from a calling to care for others through both evidence-based practice and spiritual wisdom.
