About My Clients

You're the one everyone counts on — at work, at home, everywhere. But inside you're overwhelmed, second-guessing yourself, and wondering how long you can keep this up. Maybe your ADHD makes focus feel impossible. Maybe you're caught between worlds — cultures, roles, expectations — and no one around you quite gets it. You're tired of pretending you're fine. Let's work on that together, in English or Spanish.

My Background and Approach

My approach draws from evidence-based methods including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing — but I don't believe one size fits all. I pay close attention to what each client brings to the room and let that shape how we work together. Some clients process best through conversation, others through writing, movement, or creative expression. I follow your lead. I also believe strongly in the mind-body connection and weave in mindfulness, meditation, or somatic exercises when a client is open to exploring that side of healing. I graduated in December 2024 and bring hands-on experience from working in substance use recovery, case management, and recreation therapy with older adults — where I witnessed how engagement, purpose, and activity can shift mood in ways that go beyond traditional talk therapy. I'm committed to ongoing learning and am currently pursuing additional training to deepen my work with the clients I serve. Therapy should grow with you — and so should your therapist.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people have the capacity to change and heal at any point in their lives. Neuroscience backs this up — our brains are constantly rewiring themselves, which means growth isn't just possible, it's built into us. I care deeply about immigrant communities. Having lived in Texas, I witnessed firsthand the fear that enforcement actions create — families separated, children followed, lives upended. I can't undo that harm, but I can hold space for anyone carrying it. I'm passionate about neurodiversity. ADHD is widely misunderstood and too many people spend years blaming themselves for things that were never their fault. The pressure to perform at work, keep up at home, and show up for family can feel impossible when your brain is wired differently. I help clients separate the shame from the struggle and build a life that works for how they actually think. If any of this resonates, I'd love to connect. Reach out to schedule a free consultation.
