I have provided services to many clients with Anxiety. Anxiety can appear in several ways, as a state of excessive uneasiness and apprehension. As a therapist I find it important to explore the possible ongoing fear, dread, uneasiness, resulting in physical changes and intrusive thoughts so the client can begin to use coping skills to feel less symptomatic.

I have been trained and certified in complex trauma. Dissociation is one of the symptoms clients may have developed as a trauma response. With compassion and understanding I introduce how dissociation has played an important role in a clients survival and how to help a client reduce or manage these symptoms.

For certain clients integrating the cognitive behavioral therapy model can be a useful tool to help a client to be able to identify their patterns of thoughts, emotions and behaviors. This technique can assist the client to understand how their thoughts shape how they feel and how this impacts their life.

I have found it helpful introduce IFS to clients during their therapy experience. Client's can develop an internal network as a way to deal with difficult experiences and situations. This integrative model, addresses the different parts of the mind. Each part in a person plays a distinct role in achieving self-preservation .
