About My Clients
Are you feeling lonely in your marriage? Finding that conversations are either surface level or lead to fights? Please know you're not alone! Many relationships go through this stage after major life changes (kids, new job, new city). If you and your partner are willing to work on the relationship I can help teach you to connect on a deeper level and communicate in a healthier way than ever before. My Background and Approach
The work that we'll do together will help you learn to understand each other at a deeper level, have difficult talks that actually bring you closer, and find the emotional connection you've been missing. I do this by helping you and your partner look below the surface level to the fears, assumptions, and hurts that have been quietly pushing you apart.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every marriage has a chance if both partners are willing to look at their own contributions and are open to change. One of the most detrimental things to happen to a couple is to get into a negative feedback loop that they cannot find their way out of. With some help these loops can be broken and healthier patterns created. I'm so onboard with engaging with nature as a coping/distress management skill. You'll find that with my 75+ houseplants and hours spent in the garden that this is one of my favorite coping skills. Adding on movement, I find that a walk through nature is naturally soothing (for most of us) and if I were a doctor I may just prescribe it to all of my patients.
