My Background and Approach
The strategies and tools I provide to clients are a combination of emotional intelligence, food therapy, and a 12 step approach. This approach is based on my experience working with clients of various socioeconomic status, using food as a means to regulate mental health issues, and working with clients affect by various addictions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have professional membership in counselors for social justice. I believe everyone has the right to mental health service so I provide a sliding scale fee. I believe mental health issues are influenced by nutrition, so I work with clients who are food insecure to provide strategies to improve nutrition to reduce mental health symptoms. Everyone has the right for a new beginning and I will guide clients to live their best lives despite life challenges.
