About My Clients
Therapy is where you want to go – if you don’t bring it up and talk about it then it won’t get addressed. Therapy doesn’t FIX you; you’re not broken! Therapy helps you understand HOW you experience the world and tools to navigate the world more comfortably.
My Background and Approach
A non-judgmental space where you are heard and understood. We’ll discuss what your goals are and how we will start to build a plan to work on those goals and focus on solutions to these challenges you are experiencing. You will feel respected, understood and ready to move on more confidently. A typical session begins with a check-in about how you have been feeling since our last visit, along with any new concerns you may have or want to discuss. I will encourage you to share your thoughts, feelings and concerns about these issues, and we will discuss them to help facilitate exploration and help you to process the feelings you are having. I will then help you identify any needs or specific goals you may have discovered during our discussion, and together we will brainstorm solutions to your issues. I can also use my expertise and evidence based practice to help make suggestions you might try.
