About My Clients

Throughout my training and time as a clinician, I've gotten the pleasure of working with clients from all walks of life going through various life stages. I work best with clients who are open to feedback, stay consistent in their care, and stay curious to explore different perspectives of their narrative. I primarily serve couples, college students, young adults, and immigrants with a focus on depression, anxiety, burnout, relationships, and boundaries. (Korean sessions available)

My Background and Approach

We'll start from the foundation of trust and build upwards. Our aim is to reclaim confidence and hope by exploring your story from various dimensions of identity and culture, increasing our excitement to set and execute goals for the future. My relational, psychodynamic, and narrative approach starts with providing you with a safe and emboldening space. Our therapeutic alliance will be an essential instrument for insight and change within this space, primarily due to its authentic, sometimes challenging, but always sincere and non-judgmental base. Therapy is a commitment that requires time and intentional effort, but you are not alone!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I like to use a lot of analogies throughout my sessions. One of my go-to comparisons is the therapeutic space to Marvel's depiction of Dr. Strange's mirror dimension: a space to train more advanced skills without affecting the real world. I invite you to this powerful, safe space, designed just for you to speak freely of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors on a weekly basis in which we explore our feelings, boundaries, anxieties, impairments, and resources to reclaim control over how we respond to life versus react to them. As we mindfully practice communication, emotional regulation, and boundary-setting skills, we gain opportunities to test them in our realities outside the therapeutic space and touch base in the coming week to game-plan the next steps! My curiosity drives our sessions to hear and understand your unique story in which you are the narrator, main character, and expert.
