About My Clients

In my practice I work with individuals (ages 16 and older ) and couples, with varying life experiences and needs. Specializing in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and general life stressors and transitions. I strive to create a safe space that is respectful, authentic, accepting, and compassionate . I believe the heart of effective therapy lies in a trusting relationship. My role is to partner with you to foster openness, resilience, and personal growth.

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, working for over 20 years in a wide variety of settings with adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I am currently providing individual and couples therapy in private practice via Telehealth. Because every person and relationship is unique, I customize my approach using proven, evidence-based practices. Some of the primary modalities I utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method, and Family Systems. I integrate these frameworks to support clients across different life stages: Adults & Individuals: Managing anxiety, depression, and daily stress while navigating major life transitions. Couples: Rebuilding emotional connection, breaking through gridlocked communication patterns, and cultivating deeper intimacy. Adolescents: Providing dedicated support through the unique challenges of school stress, identity development, and peer relationships.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Reaching out and asking for help and support is a vulnerable and brave step. As a therapist, I strive to provide and create a safe, warm, and welcoming space that fosters and encourages vulnerability and growth. I believe that the therapist/client relationship and rapport are the foundations of treatment which make change possible. My role is to be a support and guide in your journey to improve your sense of well-being and quality of life. You don't have to navigate life's stressors alone. Let's take the first step together.
