About My Clients
I work with teen girls and adult women who are navigating grief, life transitions, anxiety, relationship challenges, and the lasting impact of trauma. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to move forward after loss, change, or difficult relationships. I also support individuals adjusting to divorce, family changes, and identity shifts, offering a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered to heal at their own pace.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and the owner of Glimmer in Grace Counseling, PLLC. I have experience providing counseling to children, teens, and adults in school-based, community, and private practice settings. My background includes extensive work with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational concerns. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe healing happens when clients feel emotionally safe, respected, and understood. Therapy with me is not about rushing change, but about gently building insight, resilience, and self-compassion while honoring each person’s story and strengths.

I am especially passionate about increasing access to mental health care and reducing stigma within Hispanic and Latino communities, where emotional struggles are often minimized, misunderstood, or left unspoken. I strive to create a supportive and affirming space for clients who may be seeking therapy for the first time or who were taught to carry their pain quietly. I practice with sensitivity to cultural, family, and systemic influences and believe healing happens through connection, safety, and understanding. I believe in the power of small “glimmers” of hope and progress, and that healing
