About My Clients
You may look capable on the outside while carrying anxiety, old wounds, and patterns that keep showing up in your relationships. You may have learned early to be the responsible one, keep the peace, push through, or take care of everyone else. Over time, those survival strategies can become people-pleasing, perfectionism, difficulty setting boundaries, emotional overwhelm, or a persistent sense that you have to hold everything together.
My Background and Approach
I work primarily with adults navigating complex and developmental trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, difficult family dynamics, and the lasting impact of emotionally immature or inconsistent caregiving. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, integrating EMDR, somatic work, CBT, DBT, and attachment-focused therapy based on what fits you best.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I also recognize that race, culture, family roles, identity, and community expectations can shape both what you have experienced and how you learned to cope. Therapy with me is a space to make sense of those patterns without judgment and begin building a life that feels more grounded, connected, and your own.
