About My Clients
I work with individuals and families dealing with trauma, addiction, and ongoing conflict. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or used to holding everything in while trying to keep it together. I support people navigating identity, stress, family pressure, and emotional struggles, helping them better understand themselves and build healthier ways to cope and move forward.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience working with individuals and families dealing with trauma, substance use, and high-stress environments. My background includes supporting clients in both individual and structured treatment settings, helping them navigate real-life challenges, emotional struggles, and behavioral patterns. My approach is direct, supportive, and focused on what actually works. I use Brainspotting to help process trauma and deeper emotional experiences, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) to support accountability and decision-making, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build readiness for change. I also incorporate practical, evidence-based strategies to help clients develop healthier coping skills and create lasting change. I take into account culture, environment, and life experiences, recognizing how these factors shape mental health and behavior.I keep sessions honest and collaborative, creating a space where clients can be real with
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to grow and change, no matter what they’ve been through. People are not defined by their past, their mistakes, or their current struggles. At the same time, I understand that change is not easy and often requires honesty, accountability, and support. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be real without fear of judgment. Many people have been taught to hide their emotions, push through pain, or handle everything on their own. I see therapy as a place to slow down, understand what’s really going on, and begin to approach things differently.I also believe that culture, environment, and life experiences play a major role in mental health. Because of that, I approach each person with respect for their background and what they’ve had to navigate. My goal is to provide a space that is honest, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward in a way that actually works for your life.
