About My Clients
I specialize in eating disorders, dissociative disorders & complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Our bodies hold deep wisdom but for many, as a result of trauma, emotional and physical distress, and systemic oppression, to name a few, the connection to this wisdom has been disrupted and damaged. I will meet you where ever you are at in the process as we learn to listen to what your body and story hold.
My Background and Approach
In my work eating disorders, I am rooted in Health at Every Size®, weight inclusivity, and non-diet approaches. I work from a trauma-informed, body-based (somatic) and specialize in complex trauma and dissociative disorders. My work is informed by relational psychodynamic therapy, internal family systems, narrative therapy, and attachment theory. As a therapist at Self Space, I provide my clients a space full of permission, warmth, acceptance, and safety and am committed to showing up authentically. Seeking therapy is a brave and beautiful step and it is an honor to join my clients in their healing journey.
